NLP by the sea!

A week of NLP in the seaside town of Swanage, Dorset

We recognise that the environment plays an important part in how we learn. This is why our training courses are held in picturesque and inspiring parts of the country - usually in the New Forest and sometimes by the sea.

Our near-the-sea workshop is held in a Victorian Manor House & Hall with its own garden in the beautiful seaside town of Swanage - about 12 miles south of Bournemouth on the Dorset coast

Here you are about 10 minutes walk from the seafront, pier and beach and a few minutes drive from near the spectacular Dorset Coast and the gentle Purbeck Hills. Other scenic spots such as Poole Harbour, Lulworth Cove, Corfe Castle and Bournemouth can all be visited in an evening's outing.

While most of the learning time will be spent in the House and gardens we will be making trips to the Purbeck Hills to take part in some outdoor activities - and, weather permitting, we will also make short trips to learn NLP through exploring some local features.

NLP by the sea in Swanage

Group size: around 20 people

Venue: The course is held in a listed manor house and hall on the outskirts of the ancient seaside town of Swanage on the Isle of Purbeck, about 12 miles from Bournemouth. The buildings go back almost one thousand years and provide an inspiring place in which to learn and stay.

Accommodation & Meals: This is a residential course with some non-residential places. There are two fully fitted kitchens. Bedrooms have standard beds rather than bunks and bedding is supplied - you need only bring your own towels. Shops and restaurants are about 10 minutes walk and there are pubs nearby.

Accommodation available: Single en suite, Single, Twin rooms

Course times: Day 1 begins at 3.30 pm. Final day ends at 3.00 pm. Most other days run from 9 am to about 6 pm.

Airports:  Fly to Bournemouth airport via Ryanair or Southampton airport via Flybe. London Heathrow and London Gatwick airports have direct coach links with Bournemouth (see below)

Rail and coach: You can check rail services to Bournemouth here. And coach details are here.

Bus: Take the number 150 Wilts & Dorset bus from Bournemouth Square. Buses are hourly and go to Swanage via the Bournemouth Swanage chain ferry. From the Swanage bus station you can catch a taxi for the 5 minutes ride to the venue.

Learning NLP by the sea: the venue is a short walk from Swanage seafront and pier - ideal for a morning or evening walk or run or contemplative pause. And the Isle of Purbeck's spectacular Jurassic Coast is about 15-20 minutes walk away.

How to take part: Follow the links for the course of your choice on our Courses Page to get course information and then email us to make a provisional booking. We will then email you detailed course information and a registration form with which to confirm your place.

Web-only!: Designing, printing, and mailing thousands of glossy brochures is costly and slow. So we only operate via the web - we do not have paper brochures and, as a result, you will normally get a reply from us within hours - and, because we reduce overhead costs, our training fees represent exceptional value.

"Sorry course full"

Our trainings are popular. However we keep our numbers down and refuse to pack people into the courses, even though this would increase profits considerably. Why? Because to do so would reduce the the quality of your learning experience - and the quality of fun that you and we will have!

The downside of this is that courses (especially Part 2 of the Practitioner Programme) do tend to fill up pretty quickly.

The upside is that you can enjoy a friendly and very informal atmosphere, learn better, have more fun, and have lots of hands-on coaching and individual attention from the course facilitator(s).
