Picture Gallery - 'NLP in the countryside' (There are three sub-gallery sections - click on a link or image to go to the picture gallery. ) At Pegasus NLP trainings you learn through doing. Combining learning NLP with activities adds fun, variety, and the quality of learning through doing, discussing and discovering. In the case of the outdoor activities such as the Low and the High Ropes course this deepens the quality of the learning experience because the activities become a bit like 'mirrors' in which you can use NLP to better understand yourself and how you relate with others. In this way you are learning in the way in which NLP first began - through experimenting and discovering rather than absorbing pre-digested ideas from books or experts. The Low Ropes - teamwork in actionSo, for example, at a Pegasus NLP course you learn about teamwork through being part of a team - and this begins on Day 1 with the Low Ropes course. The Low Ropes course plays an essen tial part in the learn o NLP Core Skills. It's a hands-on experience of what it is like to quickly get to know people and function as a self-directing team. Rather than being told what supports or impedes good teamwork you discover this for yourself through playing your role in the teams and through reviewing your experiences and learning points with others after the activity. Learning in this hands-on manner produces many more of those wonderful "Ah Ha!" moments of personal discovery which make it more likely that you continue to use what you've learned/discovered for years after the course is over. The High RopesThe High Ropes Course is primarily made up of one-person activities in which each person has the opportunity to take part in what is, for most people, a very unfamiliar experience i.e. climbing trees in a forest! The learning points from the high ropes session are many these are explored and discussed both during the High Ropes session and, in particular, in an extensive review when we arrive back in the Lodge. Participation in the High Ropes course is optional. Everything we do on our NLP courses it is based on the principle of challenge by choice which means that each person makes their own choices on what they do - and everyone supports everyone else's choices Click here The New Forest lodge in which we hold NLP Core Skillsbecause we believe that where you learn as a very important impact on how and what you learn we hold our courses in inspiring locations. For example, our NLP Core Skills course is held in Hampshire's New Forest - England's newest National Park. Here you learn in a 60 acre country estate on the remote western edge of the Forest. The Norwegian-style wooden Lodge is a self-contained training and residential unit. So you can either travelling to the course each day or stay on-site and enjoy a truly wonderful country break. Accommodation in the Lodge is self catering so you are part of a learning team of between eight and 12 other participants - sharing shopping, cooking, and life in your log cabin in the countryside.
